Udovicic Commits to the Kings

Glacier Kings Add Physical Presence to the Blue Line

The Comox Valley Glacier Kings are excited to announce the commitment of 2008-born defenceman Marko Udovicic from Coquitlam, British Columbia, for the upcoming VIJHL season.

Standing at an imposing 6’3″ and 211 pounds, Udovicic is a left-shot defenceman who brings size, strength, and a physical edge to the Glacier Kings’ defensive core. Last season, he competed with the U18 Northeast Chiefs in the BCEHL, developing into a player capable of making an immediate impact at the junior level.

With the Glacier Kings expected to graduate several veteran defencemen, Udovicic arrives at the perfect time to help strengthen the team’s blue line. Throughout the season, Marko maintained communication with the Glacier Kings coaching staff as both sides recognized a strong fit within the organization.

According to his advisor, Carter Rhine, who also represented former Glacier King Ethan Gobel, Udovicic is viewed as a perfect match for the Kings’ culture and style of play.

Known for his hardworking, competitive nature and physical, in-your-face approach, Udovicic plays a strong defensive game while making life difficult for opposing forwards. His size, toughness, and willingness to compete in all three zones will provide an immediate presence on the back end and make him a valuable addition to the Glacier Kings lineup.

The Glacier Kings are thrilled to welcome Marko and his family to the organization and look forward to seeing him make an impact in Comox Valley this season.

Welcome to the Kings, Marko!
