The Hockey Community Mourns

The hockey world is grieving the heartbreaking loss of three young players from the Southern Alberta Mustangs.

Cameron Casorso (18) and JJ Wright (18) of Kamloops, B.C., and Caden Fine (17) of Birmingham, Alabama, tragically lost their lives in a highway collision while traveling to team practice. Three young men with bright futures, big dreams, and a deep love for the game were taken far too soon.

They were more than hockey players – they were teammates, sons, brothers, friends, and cherished members of their communities. Their impact reached far beyond the rink, touching coaches, billet families, teammates, and hockey families across North America.

As a hockey community, we understand the bond that connects us all. The Glacier Kings community stands with the Southern Alberta Mustangs, the families, teammates, and everyone affected by this unimaginable loss. We are all part of one big hockey family, and in moments like this, we grieve together.

Sending love, strength, and light to all who are mourning.
Forever remembered. Forever part of the game.
