Glacier Kings Add Skilled Two-Way Forward for the 2026-27 Season
The Comox Valley Glacier Kings are pleased to announce the commitment of 2008-born forward Dexter Jung from Vancouver, British Columbia, for the upcoming VIJHL season.
Jung, a 5’10”, 165-pound centre/winger, joins the Glacier Kings after a strong season with the Coquitlam HC U18 team in the JPHL, where he recorded 22 points in 29 games while establishing himself as a dependable two-way player.
Known for his strong work ethic and complete 200-foot game, Jung has earned high praise from both coaches and teammates throughout his development. His versatility allows him to play both centre and wing effectively, bringing skill, hockey IQ, and a competitive edge to every shift.
Most importantly, Jung is a player driven by his desire to continue developing and reach the next level of the game. His commitment to improvement and team-first mentality make him an excellent addition to the Glacier Kings organization.
Fans will have their first opportunity to see Jung and other exciting Glacier Kings prospects at the team’s Main Camp on August 24th at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.
